Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Kisanians (“we”, “us”, or “our”) built the Kisanians mobile application (“App”) as an agriculture and dairy-farm solution.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our App.
2. Information We Collect
- Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, location data (GPS), and profile photos when you register or contact us.
- Usage Data: App logs, crash reports, pages visited, features used, date/time stamps.
- Device Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
- Camera & Photos: With your permission, to power features like the P&D (Pest & Disease) AI recognition.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, improve, and personalize App features (e.g., recommendations, real-time market rates).
- To respond to your inquiries, send notifications (e.g., scheme alerts, loan reminders).
- To analyze usage patterns and diagnose technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
- Service Providers: Analytics, push-notification, and hosting vendors under strict confidentiality.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law (e.g., court order, regulatory compliance).
- Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales (with notice).
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit & at rest,
access controls) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
6. Your Choices
- You can disable location or camera permissions in your device settings (some features may not work).
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@kisanians.com.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version with a revised “Effective Date” and, if changes are material,
notify you via the App or email.
Refund Policy
Effective Date: June 11, 2025
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to any in-App purchases (e.g., premium features, subscriptions) made through Google Play.
2. Right to Cancel & Refund
- Subscriptions: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
- One-Time Purchases: Refunds may be granted within 48 hours of purchase if a feature is not functioning as described.
3. Refund Process
- Submit your refund request via help@kisanians.com with your Google Play order ID and reason.
- We’ll review and typically respond within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed through Google Play; timing depends on your payment method/provider (usually 5–10 business days).
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after 48 hours.
- Failure to read feature descriptions before purchase.
- Services used or consumed in full.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy
Effective Date: June 11, 2025
1. Purpose
To prevent Kisanians App from being used to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illicit activities.
2. Regulatory Compliance
We adhere to all applicable Indian AML laws and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and
Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-IND).
3. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Verification: We verify identity (name, address, date of birth) for any user engaging in high-value transactions (e.g., wallet top-ups, marketplace sales above ₹50,000).
- Enhanced Due Diligence: For politically exposed persons (PEPs) or suspicious activity, we collect additional documentation and perform senior management review.
4. Transaction Monitoring
Automated monitoring of transaction patterns to detect unusual volumes or frequencies.
Threshold alerts and exception reports reviewed daily by our compliance team.
5. Reporting & Record-Keeping
- Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) filed with FIU-IND within required timelines.
- All records (customer identification, transaction logs, CDD docs) retained for at least 5 years.
6. Training & Awareness
All employees and contract staff complete annual AML training covering detection, reporting procedures, and internal controls.
